finally got my car back today.. they had it for a week and a day.. i

guess that's what happens when you drive a fancy car.. gotta have

specialty parts and service..

in any event, they vacumed and washed my car and it looks as good as the

day i bought it, so that made me really happy.. i always leave streaks

of watermarks on my black car, but not them.. i may have to go watch and

learn.. too bad they didn't wax it ;)

this is a 'king cake'.. down here there is a day called kings day on
which you eat king cake.. i belive kings day was last week, but king
cake is eaten all around kings day..

in any event, the weird thing about the cake is that a plastic baby is
inside the cake, and whoever gets the baby buys the next king cake
(which may explain why this is the second king cake at work in 2 days)..
someone threw the baby back into the box, you may be able to see it at
the bottom of one of the pics below.

welp, I'm finally on my way to atlanta.. after coming to the airport
yesterday i am now back today and waiting for my flight.. to make a long
story short some idiot ordered my ticket to atlanta for the 24th (not
the 23rd) and didn't notice in the 3 weeks since the tickets were
ordered.. (that idiot was me btw)

ah well, i missed a whole day of my trip because of a stupid mistake..
even after triple checking my order i still got it wrong somehow.. but
ah we'll, such is life.

thanks to rachel and to caleb for taking me to the airport, and don't
worry, i already checked and made sure i am coming back on the 26th!

the airport's lobby here is pretty nice, which is good cause i got some
